John specialises in medical malpractice, insurance law and administrative law in the area of professional disciplinary tribunals.

He maintains an extensive practice on behalf of the SA Health defending complex medical malpractice claims.

He acts for local and national insurers defending a variety of claims including professional indemnity, public liability, product liability, D&O and occupational health & safety litigation.

John’s practice includes the prosecution and/or defence of complaints alleging unprofessional conduct against medical practitioners and lawyers.

John has a particular interest in alternate dispute resolution and legal education. He is a regular presenter of papers on a variety of topics.

John is married to Bec and has two young girls Fleur and Poppy.

In addition to being an avid sports lover John’s interests include renovating the family home and music.
